I understand that this is one of the most secure methods, since it appears to be so easy to cut through a cable lock.<br /><br />My single speed has bolt-on wheels, so I will probably use the U-lock on the frame, rear wheel (the expensive one), and possibly run a cable through the front wheel. I don't know that thieves are targeting parts just yet in Omaha, but rather want a whole bike that they can cash in for a quick $20.<br /><br />Thanks for the Commuting 101 tips.
