As you can see, the blog was just created. You will notice things changing from time to time as we continue to refine the layout and start adding content.
The content for this blog will be directed towards bike riders in Omaha. That includes kids riding their bikes in the driveway, people using bikes for transportation, people racing bikes, and even people that just like bikes but rarely get a chance to ride one. We hope this site will encourage more people to start riding bikes or start riding their bikes more often.
Stay tuned as we bring the site up to speed.

Greetings,
Today I was denied from bringing my Bike Friday tikit folding bike onto the bus. The driver said that a manager had told him that no folding bikes were allowed. No written policy was cited. I've been commuting for a couple of weeks with the new bike and this is the only driver that has expressed a problem. The only online reference I can find is a reference to baby carriages must be folded up and not obstruct the aisle. Does anyone have any more definitive info on the subject?
Thanks,
Michael
Howdy,
I was denied from bringing my Bike Friday tikit folding bike onto the bus this morning, the first objection in more than two weeks commuting with the new bike. The driver said that his manager had told him that no folding bikes were allowed. No written reference, just the verbal message.
Does anyone have more info/references on the subject?
Thanks,
Northwet
Sorry it took so long to get back to you. I didn't notice your comments were stuck in the moderation queue.
Your Bike Friday should fit on the front of the bus like other bikes.
