$20 Per Gallon: How the Inevitable Rise in the Price of Gasoline Will Change Our Lives for the Better, by Christopher Steiner, 2009.

Very interesting read. Among the many dramatic changes that Steiner predicts, he describes how cities will be come much less dependent on cars (and more bicycle friendly). Although he says many changes will be for the better, he does not say change will be easy or painless.
