Omaha Bikes Strategic Vision

A team of 18 cyclists, including Carlos Morales 'Omaha Bike/Ped Coordinator, gathered today for a 5 hour Vision Based Planning Meeting at UNO's CPACS building. The goal is to solidify the Vision, Mission and Values necessary to make the Omaha metro a bicycle friendly and supportive community.

Sorry if this is a dumb question but where was info about this meeting posted for the public to find?

Thanks!

Hey Sean. This one was by invitation only. We only had 20 spots available.

If you were on the OmahaBike mailing list, you would have gotten an invite. Want me to add your email to the list? Send it to us at omahabikesATgmailDOTcom

How can I find out what happened at this meeting. For instance, was the biking community's input to the MAPA long-range transportation discussed?

We will be presenting some of the information tomorrow at our public meeting. We will also be posting meeting minutes within the next couple of weeks.

The MAPA long-range transportation plan meeting was discussed briefly. The cycling community will be active during the MAPA planning process and it's meetings.
