TONIGHT: Bike to the Keystone Connector Trail Meeting!

Don't Forget! Tonight's the important Keystone Connector Trail Phase 2 meeting at 6:30pm at the Kroc Center in South O (2825 Y Street). Finding east-west connections between the existing Omaha bike/ped trails has long been a top priority for both planners and users of the trails, and here's our chance to speak up about the first such effort, currently underway. Phase 1, which makes the first half of the connection has already started, and Phase 2 is currently under consideration. Your voice is important!

For anyone who would like to see the proposed Phase 2 path in person today, Julie Harris and I will be leading a bike ride from the No Frills Supermarket parking lot at 50th & G to the Kroc Center. It would be great to have a group of cyclists all arriving at the Kroc Center together. We will be pointing out the intended route as it winds through commercial and residential areas. It should be a pretty easy ride - about 3 1/2 miles each way. We will ride together back to No Frills afterward.

Meet in the No Frills parking lot at 5:15pm tonight - we roll out at 5:30pm. Hope to see you there!

Best,
Matt Martin
