Ideas Wanted for Downtown Development

One way to help create a bike friendly Omaha is to get involved with the planning of future city development and projects. One such opportunity is taking place this February.

The City of Omaha Planning Department is looking for input on future development for downtown. If you are available on February 18th from 6-10 p.m. please consider attending the public Visioning Workshop at the Embassy Suites Downtown.

Development throughout Downtown and North Downtown continues to make our city even more attractive for residents and visitors alike," said Mayor Mike Fahey. "This new master plan will shape our downtown growth for the next 30 to 40 years, and I encourage everyone with ideas about the future of downtown to attend the public meeting and share their thoughts with city planners.

Thansk The Douglas. I'll try to coordinate with you over at pedal-omaha. I had another meeting scheduled for that night, but may reprioritize.

Cool... see you guys there. I may be in work clothes also. I have a lot of geographically disperse errands to run tomorrow, and limited time in the day. So I don't think I'll be on a bike.
